The Young Israel of Harrison is a small family-oriented modern Orthodox synagogue. It provides a warm, spiritual and supportive environment for all levels of observance. Rabbi Yaakov Bienenfeld has led the congregation for 30 years. and provides weekly learning opportunities via Talmud and Chumash classes at the shul. In addition, we host incredible speakers and periodic in-house scholars that over the years have included: Rabbi Shais Taub, Rabbi Paysach Krohn, Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller, etc. There are exciting youth groups for Shabbat and the Yom Tov and age appropriate children’s activities such as making your own Shoffar, baking matzah, etc. We invite you to join us any Shabbat or Yom Tov to experience the magic of the Young Israel of Harrison.
